What was your first film and is there any specific memory that you have from the shoot? My first full length film that I was ever booked for was called Sexual Rendesvouz for Gwen Media. This was in 2003, very shortly after I attended my first AVN convention in Las Vegas and had passed out some business cards and spoken with various directors at their booths. AVN conventions were a lot different back then! I was barely 19 at the time and was drawn to Gwen Media because I was very intrigued by BDSM and latex and all the other things that go along with that. I did a few short scenes with Anna Mills that day. She was very friendly and it was helpful for me because of course, I was very nervous. It was shot at a huge mansion in Simi Valley, even far north of the valley where shoots normally take place. This was in the era before normal people all had cell phones, and at the time I was living in palm springs and didn’t even have the internet or a computer. I had to write down directions to get there. I left at some ungodly morning hour, arrived around 10am, and waited until probably 4 or 5 pm before we started shooting my scenes! When we were finally finished, I left in the darkness and had NO idea where I was. I luckily was able to find my way to the freeway, but then after 2 hours of driving I had to pull off and sleep in my car because I was so exhausted. Regardless of any struggles, I very much enjoyed the pseudo-glamor of performing on a real live movie set and I knew I wanted to continue! (You can purchase Sexual Rendezvous Here)
I read that you worked approximately 10 years as an exclusive girl-girl performer. What was it like when you finally made the jump to performing with your husband in 2013?
I started performing in 2003 and at the time I was in a relationship and so it wasn’t even really a consideration that I would work with guys. I wasn’t even really interested in working with men. When I finally left that (very bad) relationship, I was able to really consider if I wanted to work with guys. I decided that I would give myself at least a year to figure it out, but ultimately it was just that the ways that I am attracted to men are very different from the ways that I am attracted to women. I’m not that physically attracted to most men, so I am super picky and had no interest in working with men in this industry. By that time, I had been doing this for so long that I had shot camera for boy/girl scenes, been on tons of sets for boy/girl scenes and it just wasn’t something I was interested in. When I met my partner, he was instantly so attractive and so passionate and sexual, it was very hard not to fall in love. He was actually interested in my work and extremely supportive. I asked if he wanted to try out some webcamming with me. We did it a few times and he enjoyed it, and things just sort of escalated from there. Drake came from a job being a diesel mechanic, but he very easily became comfortable with performing with me. I taught him how to shoot camera and edit, and then he just picked that up like a dynamo, and took his skills in ways beyond where I ever was with it. He quit his other job in late 2015 and now we run the company together (Sinn Sage Studios/Bang Pow Media), perform together, and I couldn’t be happier to have such incredible and loving support from my life partner. He is truly talented and just an overall wonderful person. The jump for me was easy because performing with the person I love makes the whole thing more fun! What would you consider to be your top 3 films that you are most proud of ?
I suppose the scene that I’m most proud of would be the one that won me my first AVN award in 2013, Dani Daniels’ Dare. I had worked with Dani a few times before that, but in this scene something primal and passionate came from her and we met each other in that space to make a scene that was truly fire. Anyone who has seen it knows exactly what I’m talking about!
My next top film would be Love & Lust, a featurette featuring myself, Drake, and Courtney in a wild, hot, passionate threesome. What upcoming projects can your fans look forward to in the near future? Those should both be coming out in the next 6 months or so. Beyond that, I can’t really say yet!
